Goa and Kerala are two of India’s top tourist destinations. The former is a tiny emerald land, while the latter is a lush state with beaches and backwaters. We included the best tourist attractions in both states when designing the ‘Goa Kerala Tour’ package. In Goa, you will visit the beaches and 15th and 16th-century churches built by Portuguese invaders. Discover natural treasures such as sandy beaches, palm-fringed backwaters, and wildlife reserves in Kerala.

This 13-day Goa trip from Kerala will commence in Goa, the ‘Beach Capital of India’. You will visit Goa beaches, century-old churches, and well-known casinos and nightclubs. The tour will then take you to Cochin, the port city, and on to the lush green serenity of Munnar. Backwater cruising on a traditional houseboat from Kottayam to Kovalam via Alleppey before concluding the Goa and Kerala Tour in Trivandrum.

Please keep in mind that this is only a suggested itinerary. We could create a Goa tour package from Kerala to meet your specific requirements. If you require changes, please contact us.

Day 1 : Arrival in Goa

When you arrive at Dabolim Airport in Goa, our representative will assist you in getting to the hotel. Finish the check-in process and take some time to relax. You have the evening free to participate in activities of your choice and explore this 'Beach Capital of India' on your own. You can visit century-old Portuguese churches, one of the many floating casinos, a nightclub to enjoy Goa's spectacular nightlife, or simply relax on the beach or at a beach shake.

Stay at the hotel for the night.

Day 2 : Goa Churches

After breakfast, take a walking tour of the churches of Old Goa, including Catherine's Church, St. Francis Xavier Church, and Se Cathedral.

Begin the day by touring Se Cathedral, one of Asia's largest churches. This cathedral was constructed to celebrate the Portuguese triumph over the Muslim rulers of Goa. Take a look at the beautiful carvings on the altars. Then you go to the Church of St. Francis Xavier, commonly known as The Basilica of Bom Jesus, to see St. Francis Xavier's casket. This Catholic Church is a UNESCO World Heritage Site with Baroque architecture.

Drive to Miramar Beach in the evening and meet the fishermen at Dona Paula fishing town to hear spine-chilling ghost stories. Dona Paula was the inspiration for the name.

Day 3 : Goa Beaches-

On the third day of your Goa and Kerala Holiday Package, you are free to do whatever you choose. You can partake in adventure and watersports, as well as be pampered with a herbal Ayurvedic massage and play on the beach. Goa's breezy beaches and sunny sky provide many options for water sports such as kayaking and other beach activities.

Paddle around the mangroves, backwaters, and tiny bays in the afternoon. If you want to push yourself, try kneeboarding, diving further into the ocean, or scuba diving to discover undersea life. Finally, windsurfing, a cross between surfing and sailing, can help you beat the waves of the Arabian Sea.

Return to the comforts of your hotel after the day's activities and retire to bed after dinner.

Day 4 : Goa to Cochin

On the fourth day of your Goa Kerala vacation, eat breakfast before being transferred to the airport to catch your aircraft to Cochin. Upon arrival, arrange for a transfer to the hotel. After checking in and relaxing for a while, you can explore Cochin's calm streets or visit the market to buy cotton apparel and handmade gifts. Before retiring for the night, take in a cultural show at the hotel.

Day 5 : Cochin

After breakfast, take a guided sightseeing trip of Cochin, stopping at the Jewish Synagogue, Fort Cochin, Mattancherry Palace, and Chinese Fishing Nets. Begin by visiting the Jewish Synagogue, which has been a meeting place for Jews since 1561 and has witnessed the British colonial fight.

Then, go to Fort Cochin, a beachfront district featuring Dutch, Portuguese, and British colonial buildings. Next, go to St. Francis Church to see Vasco Da Gama's grave. Later, dine at one of the many eateries serving exquisite Kerala cuisine. In the evening, you will witness the operation of the Chinese Fishing Nets, a unique fishing technique that offers a beautiful sunset panorama.

After you've finished touring, return to your hotel for a restful night.

Day 6 : Cochin - Munnar (126 km / 4 hours)-

Check out after breakfast and drive from Cochin to Munnar by road. Check into the resort upon arrival. After a short rest, take a boat trip on the beautiful Munnar Lake. Munnar Lake, also known as Kundala Lake, is located at 1700 metres above sea level and is surrounded by a magnificent scenery. The evening is reserved for touring Munnar's local bazaar.

Return to the resort for one more night.

Day 7 : Munnar

Today, you have the option of relaxing or exploring some of Munnar's top attractions. Waterfalls, Echo Point, Eravikulam National Park, and local tea farms are all must-sees on a Goa Kerala vacation. First, go to the Lakkam waterfalls to clear your thoughts and see the natural beauty. Then, go to Echo Point to witness the natural phenomena of echoing. Also, visit Eravikulam National Park to witness the endangered Nilgiri Tahr. If you're lucky, you might be able to see the flowering of Neelakurinji (which only blooms once every 12 years) in the green valley, as well as beautiful views of tea bushes in the park.

After your exploration, return to your accommodation for the night.

Day 8 : Munnar - Periyar (85 km/ 3 hours)

Drive to the Periyar National Park after breakfast. When you arrive, check into the adjacent forest lodge. Go boating on Periyar Lake in the afternoon. Boating on the calm lake is a relaxing way to see the rich flora and fauna of the Periyar Tiger Reserve. Sambar deer, elephants, and Indian bison can also be seen in the park. Continue north to Kumily village, where you can tour the spice plantation and bazaar.

Return to your accommodation after a fun-filled day and get some rest.

Day 9 : Periyar - Kottayam (107 km / 3 hours)

Check out and enjoy a lovely journey to Kottayam from Periyar on the ninth day of your Goa and Kerala itinerary. Board a traditional houseboat (Kettuvallam) for an overnight backwater trip upon arrival. Sail through the lovely countryside, paddy fields, churches, and temples. Enjoy the tranquil setting while spotting colourful birds in the sky, fish diving around your houseboat, and locals going about their everyday activities. Spend the evening stargazing from the deck and enjoying traditional cuisine.

Spend the night on the houseboat.

Day 10 : Arrive Alleppey - Kovalam

When you wake up today, your houseboat will have arrived in Alleppey. Continue your journey to Kovalam while admiring the gorgeous nature. Sail across lakes and lagoons shaded by coconut trees. Enjoy your lunch on board before arriving in Kovalam in the afternoon. After arriving, proceed to the hotel for an overnight stay.

Day 11 : Kovalam

On Day 11 of your Goa Kerala Tour, you may unwind at the gorgeous Kovalam Beach, which is a confluence of Lighthouse Beach, Hawa Beach, and Samudra Beach. Swim, walk on the beach, and relax your senses with Ayurvedic massage therapies.

Stay in Kovalam for the night.

Day 12 : Kovalam

After a filling breakfast, treat your senses to an Ayurvedic massage with herbal oil in the morning. Then, spend the rest of the day watching the sand and surf interact. Also, take an evening walk through nature and relax on the silver-white sand. The palm-lined beach also serves authentic Kerala cuisine at beach restaurants. So you may sip a coconut drink while swinging through a coconut grove and admiring the sunset.

After spending the day in nature, return to your accommodation for the night.
