Day 1 : IXB/ NJP – Gangtok (120 km/ 05 Hrs.)

Your vacation of North East India and Bhutan begins with a pickup from Bagdogra Airport / NJP Railway Station. Meet our tour representative and arrange for a journey to Gangtok. When you arrive in Gangtok, complete the hotel check-in procedures and rest.

The remainder of the day is yours to do as you like. You have the option of relaxing in the amenities of your hotel or exploring the town.

Stay at the hotel for the night.

Day 2 : In Gangtok

Begin your day with a hearty breakfast at the hotel. Then take a day trip to Tsomgo Lake. This glacial lake, also known as Changu Lake, is a renowned tourist destination in Sikkim. You can choose to enjoy the scenic vistas, yak rides, posing in traditional dress, and savouring delectable momos and sweets. Optional excursion to Nathula Pass (Alt 14000 Ft.) The pass is located close the China border, and a visit can be organised (except on Monday and Tuesday) for Indian nationals at an additional cost.

The trip's next stop is the one-of-a-kind Baba Mandir. Return to Gangtok after sightseeing. The evening is free for retail therapy. Also, don't miss out on scrumptious delicacies such as momos and other Tibetan dishes.

Day 3 : Gangtok – Lachung (115 km / 6 Hrs.)

After breakfast, depart Gangtok for Lachung at 10 a.m. Travel 115 kilometres to Lachung, which is located at an elevation of 8,600 feet. Stop along the road to see Tashi Viewpoint, Kabi Longstok, Naga Waterfalls, the confluence of Lachen Chu and Lachung Chu at Chungthang, Twin Waterfalls, and Bhim Nala Waterfalls. Arrive at Lachung in the late afternoon/early evening and settle into your hotel. The rest of the day is free of obligations; you can spend it as you like. Visit the town or relax in the comfort of your hotel.

Day 4 : Lachung – Gangtok

Breakfast is a good way to start the day. Later, depart for Yumthang Valley, commonly known as Sikkim's Valley of Flowers. It is a 1.5-hour journey from Lachung and is located at an elevation of 11,800 feet. Visit Hot Spring as part of your day trip. Yumthang is a vast valley in Sikkim that is considered to be one of the most beautiful destinations in the North East.

Return to Gangtok after your day trip. Check into the hotel when you get in Gangtok late at night.

Stay in Gangtok for the night.

Gangtok – Pelling (115 km./ 04 Hrs.)

Begin your day with a hearty breakfast at the hotel. Prepare for a half-day Gangtok city trip later.

The term "electronic commerce" refers to the sale of electronic goods. Later, pay a visit to the local Cottage Industry to learn about local handicrafts and enjoy the exquisite handiwork. Learn about Tibetan Buddhist legacy at the Dro-Dul Chorten Stupa, a historic monastery, and the Institute of Tibetology. The Flower Show and Handicraft Centre is the day's final stop. Drive from Gangtok to Pelling in the afternoon. Pelling, located in the lap of the Alps at an elevation of 6800 feet / 2072 meters, offers wonderful views of the snow-capped mountains, nice weather, and other attractions. Take in the scenery and the music.
Check into the hotel upon arrival in Pelling. There are no more plans for the day. You can choose to walk around town or relax in the amenities of your hotel at your leisure.


Stay in Pelling for the night.

Pelling – Darjeeling (110 km/ 04 Hrs.)

Begin the half-day Pelling sightseeing trip after breakfast at the hotel. Begin with a visit to the Kanchenjunga waterfalls, an ethereal beauty supplied by the melting water of Mount Kanchenjunga's glaciers, the world's third highest mountain. Next, pay a visit to the sacred Khecheopalri Lake, which is thought to be one of the holiest Buddhist lakes in India and a sight to behold.

After a delicious lunch, begin the trip from Pelling to Darjeeling. Families, honeymoon couples, and nature enthusiasts seeking peace and tranquillity visit this picturesque hill resort in the North East Himalayas.

Check into your hotel upon arrival in Darjeeling. There are no other plans for the day; you can spend your time relaxing in the comforts of home.

Day 7 : In Darjeeling

Begin your day early, before daybreak. Leave for a day of sightseeing in Darjeeling, including a sunrise vista from Tiger Hill. The dawn over Mt Kanchenjunga and other high Himalayan peaks is a popular tourist destination. Return to touring after breakfast at the hotel. Padmaja Naidu Zoological Park is a must-see.


Next, go to the Himalayan Mountaineering Institute. (Closed on Thursday). After that, go to the Ghoom Monastery and the Batasia Loop. While taking in the pure mountain air, marvel at the architectural miracle that allows the UNESCO-listed world heritage site of Darjeeling Toy Train to exist.

Visit the Japanese Temple devoted to Lord Buddha. Another must-see tourist site in Darjeeling is the Peace Pagoda, which features four Buddha avatars in the poses of sleeping, sitting, standing, and meditation. Then, go to the Tibetan Refugee Self-Help Center to learn more about Tibetan handcraft manufacture.

After sightseeing, go shopping on your own in the afternoon. Spend the evening on Mall Road, taking in the fresh air and savouring the excellent momos and other Tibetan cuisine.

Stay in Darjeeling for the night.

Day 8 : Darjeeling – Phuentsholing ( 190 km./ 06 Hrs.)

Begin the day with breakfast at the hotel, followed by check-out formalities and a drive from Darjeeling to Phuentsholing, a town on the southern border of Bhutan. Throughout the ride, take in the breathtaking mountain views and the pleasant weather. Check into the hotel upon arrival at Phuentsholing. The day is free to be spent as you like. You can choose to be active with activities that interest you, such as touring and interacting with locals.

Stay in Phuentsholing for the night.

Day 9 : Phuentsholing – Thimphu ( 150 km./ 06 Hrs.)

After breakfast, go on the road and head to Thimphu. Complete the immigration processes and settle at an altitude of 7,710 feet before arriving in Thimphu. Bhutan's capital city is a treasure trove of history, legacy, and culture. Check into your hotel upon arrival in Thimphu.

Visit the Tashichho Dzong in the evening. (Fortress of the Glorious Religion). The Dzong is a major tourist site in Bhutan, located on the banks of the Wang Chhu River.

Stay in Thimphu for the night.

Day 10 : In Thimphu

Begin your day with a hearty breakfast at the hotel. After that, go on a sightseeing tour of Thimphu.

Pay a visit to Kuensel Phodrang as your first stop of the day. (Buddha Statue). Admire the National Memorial Chorten (Monument), a renowned tourist destination in Thimphu, which is a gorgeous temple with stunning mandalas and murals. The Folk Heritage Museum provides a picture of traditional Bhutanese life, as well as a remarkable collection of artefacts from royal and rural households, among other things.

In the afternoon, go to the Sangaygang View Point, which offers a panoramic view of Thimphu. Then, take a visit to Changangkha Monastery, a historic Bhutanese monastery packed with pilgrims where you can receive blessings. A visit to the Takin Preserve Centre allows you to encounter Bhutan's national animal. The Tashichho Dzong is the final site on the day excursion. (Fortress of the Glorious Religion).

The evening is free for local market shopping.

Stay in Thimphu for the night.

Day 11 : Thimphu – Paro (65 km./ 02 Hrs.)

After breakfast, check out of your hotel and head to Paro. Visit the Tamchog Lhakhang on your route to Paro. It is a major tourist site in Bhutan and was built in the 13th century by Thangthong Gyalpo, commonly known as the Iron Bridge Builder. Pay a visit to the temple on the hilltop as well. Drive across an ancient-style bridge to approach the temple and worship.

When you arrive in Paro, check into your accommodation. After relaxing for a time, go sightseeing. Visit the Ta Dzong, the National Museum, in the afternoon, which has a remarkable collection of arts, relics, religious thangka, and so on. The Rinpung Dzong is the next stop. It translates as "fortress of" in the native tongue.

Day 12 : Paro Sightseeing

Begin the day with breakfast before departing for sightseeing. Visit Drukgyel Dzong, a major tourist attraction in Paro that was once a fortress and Buddhist monastery but is now in ruins. Visit the well-known Taktsang Monastery, often known as the "Tiger's Nest." The monastery, perched on the slopes, is a lovely temple of vivid colours and fluttering prayer flags. The hike from the base camp takes about two hours. Kyichu Monastery is Bhutan's oldest monastery and a significant Himalayan Buddhist temple.


There are no more plans for the day. In the evening, go shopping at the local market.

Stay the night in Paro.

Day 13 : Leave Paro

Today marks the conclusion of the North East with Bhutan journey. Check out of the hotel after breakfast and transfer to Paro Airport to connect the flight for onward destinations with great memories of North East India and Bhutan.
