Day 1 : Arrival in Paro – Thimphu

Take a Druk Airways flight to Bhutan, the kingdom of the quiet dragon. (Please check the flight timing). The trip from Delhi is regarded as one of the most spectacular, providing a magnificent view of some of the world's tallest peaks. Complete the immigration and customs procedures upon arrival at Paro airport, followed by an assisted transfer to Thimphu.

Complete the check-in procedures upon arriving in Thimphu. Following lunch, take a sightseeing tour of Thimphu. Visit the Memorial Chorten, which was constructed in commemoration of the late 3rd King. Seek blessings here before proceeding to Changangkha Lhakhang, Thimphu's oldest temple. This traditional Buddhist monastery was erected in the 12th century.

Later, go to the enclosures where Takin, the national animal, is housed. Then, pay a visit to the freshly constructed Buddha statue, which gives breathtaking views of the entire valley. In the evening, go to Tashichho Dzong, which is located on the Wangchhu River's bank. It is often referred to as the "fortress of the glorious religion." After that, you can go for a walk around Thimphu.

Return to the hotel and get some rest.

Day 2 : Thimphu

Begin the day with a substantial breakfast before embarking on a sightseeing tour of the city. Visit the weekend market (Friday, Saturday, and Sunday), when residents from adjacent villages sell their wares. You will have the opportunity to learn about Thimphu's culture and engage with people.

Later, pay a visit to the traditional Hand Made Paper Mill, where you may purchase souvenirs. The factory upholds an ancient Bhutanese heritage. Following that, you will visit the School of Art and Craft, where students study about the 13 distinct arts practised in Bhutan. Visit the National Library, which houses Buddhist teachings and religious texts.

Drive straight up to Dechen Phodrang Monastic School, where you can meet the young monks. Continue after that.

Day 3 : Thimphu – Punakha (3 Hrs.)

After a great breakfast, complete the check-out formalities and drive to Punakha. Stop along the journey at Dochula Pass (3,050 metres) for stunning views of Bhutan's highest mountain peaks if the weather permits. Take a tour around the 108 Stupas before continuing your journey to Punakha.

Take a wonderful walk across the paddy field upon arrival before checking into the hotel. Visit Chimi Lhakhang, the fertility temple. Finish the check-in formalities and unwind for a while.

In the evening, go to Punakha Dzong, a 17th-century stronghold, and then to the Khamsum Yulley Namgyal Chorten. Return to your hotel room and unwind.

Day 4 : Punakha – Trongsa

Wake up to a gorgeous morning, and if you are staying at Meri Puensum, Zandopelri, or Densa Hotel, you will be in for a treat. You can easily walk up to a nunnery and engage with the sisters while admiring the beautiful scenery of Punakha and Wangdi Valley.

After a delicious breakfast, complete the check-out procedures and begin your drive to Trongsa. You can stop en route for a short walk to the historic village of Rinchengang, which gives spectacular views of the Wangdi Dzong. The historic houses, which the residents have meticulously restored, will astound you. You can return from here and then cross the Pele La Pass, which is located 3,300 metres above sea level.
Take a short break en way and go for a short walk to the distant villages of Rukubji or Chendibji. Enjoy the beautiful location's picturesque landscape. When you get at Trongsa, finish the check-in process and get some rest.

Trongsa | Altitude: 2200m | Punakha to Trongsa Distance: 138 km | Travel Time: 5 hours 30 minutes (approx.)

Day 5 : Trongsa – Jakar

Begin your day with a substantial breakfast before embarking on a morning walk around Trongsa town and visiting the Trongsa Dzong (fortress), the royal residence. It is one of the region's most notable and largest dzongs. Later, pay a visit to the Ta Dzong, a royal history museum as well as a historic watchtower. Following that, you will go to Jakar via the Yutong La Pass, which is 3,400 metres above sea level. You will stop along the way to Chumi Valley, a popular weaving destination. Bumthang is well-known for its 'Yatha' (wool weaving).
After passing through Kiki La Pass, continue on your way to Jakar. You will be assisted in your transfer to the hotel upon arrival. Finish the check-in process and unwind. The remainder of your time is free. You can take a stroll through Jakar's streets.

Enjoy a delicious dinner and get a good night's sleep.

Day 6 : Jakar Sightseeing

Begin the day with a hearty breakfast before embarking on a sightseeing tour of Jakar. This gorgeous province is one of Bhutan's holiest places, with several temples and holy sites. To begin, pay a visit to Jambay Lhakhang, one of Bhutan's first two Buddhist temples. Visit Kurjey Lhakhang as well, where the royals were cremated.

Later, go to Tamshing Lhakhang in the settlement of Parar. Finish your day with a visit to the Swiss Farm. If you have the time and stamina, go to Jakar Dzong, which has an amazing perspective of the valley.

In the evening, stroll through town and sample some local noodles and pancakes. Return to your hotel room and unwind.

Day 7 : Jakar – Phobjikha

After a wonderful breakfast, complete the check-out procedures, and take an escorted transfer to the Phobjikha through the Pele La Pass. Phobjikha is nestled against the backdrop of the Black Mountains in Wangdue Phodrang and is dotted with beautiful vistas of the huge expanse of lush nature. This valley is a haven for nature lovers and thrill seekers. Some endangered birds, such as the Black Necked Crane, call it home. During the winter, they move to Bhutan.
When you arrive in the valley, you will be aided in getting to your accommodation. Finish the check-in process and unwind. The remainder of your time is free. The term "electronic commerce" refers to the sale of electronic goods. One such trail is the Phobjikha Nature trail hike (2.5 hours), which provides a great perspective of the valley. The journey begins in the valley and concludes at the Gangtey Gompa shrine on a hilltop overlooking the valley.

Return to your hotel and get some rest.

Day 8 : Phobjikha – Paro

Begin your day with a nice breakfast and then go for a morning walk near your accommodation to meet locals. After that, complete the check-out procedures and take an assisted transfer to Paro through Dochula Pass. You can stop at Thimphu on route.

When you arrive in Paro, complete the hotel check-in procedures and relax. Later, take a city tour and meander through the ancient town, stopping by several local artisan shops. You may buy souvenirs and watch traditional games such as archery tournaments, among other things, here.

Return to the hotel later to enjoy the scrumptious meal.

Day 9 : Paro Sightseeing

Begin your day with a delicious breakfast before embarking on a sightseeing tour. Begin your morning trip to Chele La Pass, which is 3,800 metres above sea level and one of Bhutan's motorable roads. Mount Jomolhari (7314 m) is visible on clear days. It is Bhutan's most sacred and highest mountain summit. Take in the view of the gorgeous mountains from the pass and go for a walk while breathing in the fresh air.

Return to the hotel in the afternoon and then proceed to Paro Dzong, one of the country's most famous strongholds. Spend some time there to catch a glimpse of a bygone age.

Return to your hotel and relax.

Day 10 : Paro Sightseeing

After a delicious breakfast, set out on a sightseeing excursion. Visit Paro Taktsang, commonly known as Tiger's Nest. It is one of the country's most cherished temples. The temple is built on a granite rock overlooking the Paro valley. The walk from the bottom to the hill will take nearly three hours.

If time and energy allow, visit Kichu Lhakhang, one of Bhutan's oldest temples, in the evening. These temples represent the birthplace of Buddhism in the country.

Return to the hotel and unwind after an action-packed day.

Day 11 : Departure

Enjoy a delicious breakfast before completing your check-out procedures. After your 10 nights and 11 days in Bhutan, you will be taken to the airport for your flight home.
