The best time to visit Bomdila is from April to October, when the weather is cool and pleasant. Bomdila experiences summers in June, although the weather remains pleasant and the extreme temperature does not exceed 30 degrees Celsius. The primary rainy season is between the middle of July and September; however, the town gets rain all year.
Tezpur, Assam, has the closest airport to Bomdila. It is recommended to arrive at Tezpur first (by bus, train, or air) and then drive to Bomdila. The road leading to Bomdila is not well maintained and is in poor shape in several places. The trip takes roughly 6 hours unless there is an avalanche, in which case it takes longer. You can take a cab, share a cab, or take the bus.
While bed and breakfasts, resorts, and lodges all serve food, the options for eating out are somewhat restricted. You can simply select from a number of Dhabas and native food outlets in the main market area. Aside from these, the few restaurants in the area serve Indian, Chinese, and Continental cuisine. The typical North Eastern/Tibetan cuisine is available here. Momos, thumpas, noodles, and soups are the major dishes and may be found in a variety of restaurants.
Bomdila is the ideal long weekend location for anyone looking to get away from the crowds and spend some time in the lap of nature. This is the finest journey's conclusion for people looking for adventure and escapade, as Bomdila offers more than a few hiking and climbing treks and paths.
Tawang is best visited between March and September. Tawang is a great place to visit in the summer and for much of the wet season, but it's a freezing place in the winter. The summer months are pleasant, and the rainy season is rather cold. In the winter, however, the temperature lowers to 1-3 degrees Celsius, and a snowstorm may disrupt the convenience.
The months of November through April are considered the finest months to visit the park because the weather is mildly cool.
Arunachal Pradesh is a fast-paced excursion. It takes at least 5 to 6 hours in a car to travel from one location to another. As a result, if you have children, you might consider visiting alternative sites with a simpler agenda.
There are a few spots where you can stop driving. Because the roads are dangerous, try not to stop anywhere on the road.
Yes, identification is required when visiting Arunachal Pradesh. You may be required to present it at each military checkpoint along the trip.
You can get to Tawang by private car from Arunachal Pradesh. For security concerns, you must charter a local, robust automobile to visit Bumla Pass.
