Highlights

  • Visit the Lord Shiva-dedicated Pashupatinath Temple.
  • Visit Swayanbhunath, one of the great Buddhist pilgrimage destinations.
  • Discover the historic city of Bhaktapur.
  • From the lofty Nagarkot, enjoy a spectacular view of the magnificent Mt. Everest.

Day 1 : Kathmandu

You will be met at the airport for the start of your journey. You are brought directly to the hotel and the check-in procedures are completed. Kathmandu is Nepal's cultural and political center, as well as its capital. After checking in, you can spend the remainder of your day relaxing in the hotel's luxury. Later, you can retire, looking forward to the next day.

Day 2 : Kathmandu Sightseeing

In the morning, you will visit the Pashupatinath temple, which is incredibly sacred and represents Nepalese Hindu culture. You will find Hindu sadhus praying and cremating along the banks of the Baghmati River. You then travel to Bouddhanath, one of Nepal's most sacred Buddhist shrines. Many Buddhists come here on pilgrimage. You then depart for Patan or Lalitpur, which are more lovely than Kathmandu and are separated by the Bahmati River.

Lalitpur is distinguished from the rest of Nepal by its exquisite architectural buildings; the centre square of Durbar is home to multiple temples, each with intricate patterns. Within Patan, you will come upon a Tibetan refugee settlement, however they are not welcome.

Swayambhunath, an ancient holy complex on top of a hill, is another destination you visit. It stands out with its dome construction and golden spire, which are draped with colourful prayer flags and provide a stunning perspective of the city. Swayambhunath is one of Nepal's most intriguing features, as the painted eyes on the building appear to be watching you all the time. Your hectic day concludes with your return to the hotel; stay the night.

Day 3 : Kathmandu -Nagarkot via Bhaktapur

You drive to Nagarkot, which is one and a half hours east of the city. The main feature of the area is its elevation of 2,174 meters, which provides a spectacular view of the ranges, including Mt Everest. On the route up to Nagarkot, you pass through Bhaktapur, which appears to be stuck in the mediaeval age. Traditional handicrafts are practised here, and ancient structures such as the Golden Gate, Palace of Fifty-five Windows, and temples may be found. As the day comes to a conclusion, you spend the night in a hotel in Nagarkot.

Day 4 : Nagarkot - Airport

You get up in the morning, check out of the hotel, and drive to the airport to catch your flight, continuing your journey.
