When you arrive at Colombo International Airport, meet our representative who will assist you with an aided transfer to Dambulla / Habarana. When you arrive at your location, go through the check-in process at your pre-booked hotel. Later in the afternoon, visit Dambulla Cave Temple, also known as the Golden Temple of Dambulla, which is a UNESCO World Heritage Site. The remainder of the day is free for you to spend anyway you like. Interact with the people, try the local cuisine, and more. Stay the night in Dambulla or Habarana.
After breakfast on day 2, check out of your accommodation and head to Sigiriya or Ritigala for the day. King Kasyapa (477 - 495 CE) erected the historic palace of Sigiriya, which is now a UNESCO World Heritage Site. It was a Buddhist monastery in the 14th century and is one of the country's best maintained historical urban planning. The next stop is the Ritigala nature reserve, which contains the ruins of a cave temple and a monastery. Back to Dambulla / Habarana for the night.
Day 3: After breakfast, drive to Kandy. On the way, take a spice tour at one of Matale's spice gardens. Take in the luscious foliage all around you while inhaling the perfume of the tea leaves. Continue on to Kandy, a significant city in Sri Lanka. Check into your hotel upon arrival. Visit the Temple of the Sacred Tooth Relic in the evening. This World Heritage Site is home to a relic of Lord Buddha's tooth. Stay for the night.
After breakfast at your accommodation, take an assisted transfer to Colombo, Sri Lanka's capital city. When you arrive in Colombo, complete the check-in procedures at your pre-booked hotel. After you've settled into your hotel, grab lunch at a city restaurant. This is followed by some touring and shopping in the city. If you like, you can enjoy Colombo's nightlife by visiting one of the city's prominent casinos at night. Stay in Colombo for the night.
After breakfast on the final day of the tour, take an aided transfer to the airport to board a flight to your next destination.
