You will be taken to the airport in the morning following breakfast in order to catch a flight to Dimapur. The Kohima War Cemetery, constructed in honour of the men who lost their lives during World War II, will be the first attraction of the day. You will then travel to Bara Basti, which is the second-largest settlement in Asia and was established by Angami's ancestors. There are typical Naga homes in the village. Mitun (buffalo) horns and rifle motif decorations adorn the village's entryway, signifying the bravery of the tribal inhabitants. The State Museum, which houses Naga relics from about 15 tribal groups, will be the day's final destination. Stay over night.
The tour's fifth day will start with breakfast. Then, travel to Khonoma Village by road. You can reach the Angamis headquarters in this village after a two-hour trip from Kohima. Angami rebels who fiercely battled British invaders in the Naga hills in 1879 used this village as their base. Engage in the things you find interesting. Check out the way of life of the locals. You will traverse the Angami and Renga communities on the eighth day of the excursion. These two tribes' members are highly recognised for their vibrant festival dances. You will be transported to Kaziranga National Park today. After eating breakfast, start travelling. Visit your rainforest lodge as soon as you reach the national park. Day is unoccupied. You can go for a walk around the neighbourhood if you like. Stay over night.
A full-day safari inside the national park is scheduled for day 10. Two-thirds of the rhinos with one horn live in this world heritage site. Moreover, it has sizable populations of Asiatic water buffalo and Eastern swamp deer. The national park also boasts of harbouring about 483 different species of avifauna. Stay over night.
Day 10 and Day 11 will be identical. In a vehicle, you will also explore the park's fauna today. The jeep safari for today will take place in a different area of the park. Spend the night in your inn. (Note: It is also possible to arrange tours to the tea plantations and a stroll around the nearby villages.)
There is a morning safari and a nighttime safari (elephant or jeep safari). Together with the surrounding creatures, examine the enormous variety of vegetation. On the thirteenth day of the vacation, you'll start travelling in the direction of Guwahati, passing through villages, tea estates, and jungles.
