Day 1 : Delhi - Paro

Board a flight to Paro in the morning. During the flight, take in the breathtaking views of Kanchan Junga, Mount Everest, Mount Chomolhari, and Mount Jichu Drake in Bhutan. When you arrive in Paro, meet our team, who will take you to one of the hotels on our list. The evening is free to spend as you please. Stay at a hotel for the night.

Day 2 : Paro

After breakfast, proceed to Rinpung Dzong, which contains the monastic body of Paro, the Thrimpon of Paro district, and the Dzongda's office. To get to Rinpung Dzong, walk across the ancient covered bridge known as Nemi Zam. Take in the architectural wonder of Dzong and the life that surrounds it while standing on the bridge. Then, travel to the Tea Dzong, a watchtower designed to defend Rinpung Dzong. It now serves as the country's National Museum. It houses a wonderful collection of art, relics, sacred thangkha paintings, and gorgeous Bhutanese postal stamps. Later in the day, take a visit to Kyichu Lhakhang, one of the 7th century's oldest and most revered temples.

Day 3 : Paro - Chonana

After breakfast, begin walking from Paro towards Chonana. The journey takes 5 to 6 hours. The majority of the trail is a steady ascent through pine woodland. While trekking, you will come across numerous enticing farm cottages. From the hike, take in the stunning views of the Paro valley. When you arrive in Chonana in the afternoon, rest and unwind in one of the camps. Stay at the camp for the night.

Day 4 : Chonana - Jebkarpo

Trek towards Jebkarpo the next morning after breakfast. The trail winds through a forest loaded with rhododendron, primula, and other tree and plant species. Stop for lots of rest on your way to Chilla pass while travelling upwards for the majority of the day. The trail continues along the Chilla ridge after crossing the pass, affording a clear perspective of the Himalayas. Stay in the camp for the night.

Day 5 : Jebkarpo - Lower Mingula

Wake up early in the morning to see the mesmerising and spectacular view of Mount Jitchu Drake, Mount Chomolhari, and Tserim Gang from the camp site. Then begin climbing uphill for around 5 hours, taking frequent breaks. A spectacular view of the Paro and Haa valleys can be had by hiking up the Chilla ridge. Stay at the camp for the night.

Day 6 : Lower Mingula - Thong

Trek from Lower Mingula to Thong in the morning after breakfast. It's another beautiful day with beautiful vistas of mountains and valleys. Yak herders are frequently seen along this road. Overnight stay in a camp.

Day 7 : Thong - Thimphu

The following morning, depart for Thimphu. It is a one-of-a-kind city with an intriguing blend of modern development and ancient culture. To get to Thimphu, take a scenic drive through gorgeous valleys and passes. Check into one of the hotels on our list when you arrive. After some rest and relaxation, go to the National Memorial Chorten. Stay at the hotel for the night.

Day 8 : Thimphu - Sightseeing

After breakfast, go on a sightseeing tour of Thimphu, stopping at locations including the Dupthop Lhakhang, the National Library, and the Painting School. Drive to the Traditional Medicine Institute after lunch, where medications are still manufactured using ancient methods. Stay at the hotel for the night.

Day 9 : Thimphu - Punakha - Wangdue Phodrang - Thimphu

Begin your hike towards the Wangdue Phodrang after breakfast. En route, stop in Punakha Valley to take in the breathtaking scenery. Then continue trekking till Wangdue Phodrang, a town named after a Dzong erected in 1638 that is also the main attraction here. Investigate the Dzong. Relax first, then take in the scenery. Finally, make your way back to Thimphu for an overnight stay.

Day 10 : Thimphu - Paro

Transfer to Paro airport in the morning to get a flight to your next destination.
