The Bird Watching Tour in India is ideal for bird watchers who are in good physical condition and can walk in high altitude areas. This tour takes you to spectacular scenery while also providing you with excellent bird watching opportunities. While in India’s capital, visit some of the major tourist attractions. Drive to Narkanda, stopping along the way to birdwatch. Drive slowly to Sangla, taking in the breathtaking gorges of the Greater Himalayas. Visit Tirthan Valley to see the main attractions, which include the college, Monal, and Koklas.
Arrival in New Delhi before or after 12 a.m. Spend the night in a hotel.
In the morning, drive down to Okhla Barrage for some bird watching. In the afternoon, go for a sightseeing tour of India's capital city, including stops at India Gate, Qutab Minar, and Humayun's tomb, as well as a drive past the President's House. Enjoy your hotel stay at night. Enjoy your stay in fully equipped tents at night.
In the morning, take a train from Delhi to Chandigarh. Drive to Narkanda, stopping along the way to birdwatch. Spend the night in a hotel that is fully equipped with modern conveniences.
Drive slowly to Sangla, taking in the beautiful canyons of the Greater Himalayas. Take pleasure in an evening bird walk in Sangla. Tented camps are used for overnight stays.
Drive down to Chitkul, the last inhabited village surrounded by lush green fields and towering mountain peaks. En route, we made a stop for birding. Return to Sangla in the evening. Spend the night in a tent.
Take advantage of the bird hikes near Fort Kamru and Sangla. Spend the night in fully equipped tents.
Continue on to Sarahan, a lovely village overlooked by the Srikhand Mahadev mountain and surrounded by apple orchards. The Srikhand Mahadev summit is shaped like a Shivlinga, and the Bhimakali temple is a prominent tourist attraction. Rest and unwind before spending the day bird watching. Visit the Pheasant Breeding Centre for additional fun. Spend the night in a hotel and rest.
Travel to the next birding destination, Goshaini, via the Jalori pass and Shoja. Shoja, a little settlement with many alpine trees and dense woodland, is an unspoilt ecosystem. When you arrive, enjoy a delicious lunch before strolling down to the forest logging road into the pristine Pheasant countryside. The main attractions to be photographed are Kaleej, Monal, and Koklas. Leave for Goshaini in the evening. Spend the night at the tourist resort.
Begin your day with a bird walk towards the Great Himalayan National Park. Afternoon hike downstream along the Tirthan River. Enjoy an overnight stay at one of tourist resorts.
Visit Jibhi and Bahu to go bird viewing. Spend the night in Tirthan in a tourist lodge.
Drive to Bhunter in the morning. Take a flight from Tirthan to Delhi. When you arrive in Delhi, you will be transferred to a hotel that is fully equipped with modern amenities.
Spend the morning watching birds at the Delhi Zoo. In the afternoon, unwind. Transfer to the airport for your flight.
