Day 1 : Arrival

Meet our tour representative at Bagdogra airport/Jalpaiguiri railway station/Tenzing Norgay bus stand and immediately drive to Darjeeling.
Darjeeling, located at a height of up to 2050 meters, is one of India's most popular honeymoon destinations. The magnificent hill station draws thousands of visitors from all over India and the world.
The exotic location, known as the "queen of hills," has a number of attractions and tourist spots. The Darjeeling Himalayan Railway, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, and several tea estates are the main attractions. The hill station has everything a traveler needs for a perfect vacation.
Later, check into a pre-booked hotel and unwind. In the evening, you can either relax or go shopping. Darjeeling's unique purchases include amazing kitchen wares, a variety of teas, a brass statue, woven fabrics, and shimmering accessories.

Day 2 : Darjeeling Local Sightseeing

Get up around 3:45 a.m. to drive to Tiger Hill, which is up to 8,500 feet in elevation and surrounded by stunning beauty all around. Explore the region's highest point and marvel at the breathtaking views from the top, including the snow-covered Himalayan ranges and Kanchenjunga (the third highest peak). Furthermore, on a clear day, you may be able to see Mount Everest, the world's highest peak.
After that, on your way back to the hotel, stop by Ghoom Monastery, the War Memorial, and Batasia Loop. The Ghoom monastery, a Tibetan Buddhist gompa, is one of the most sacred monasteries in Sikkim. Inside the monastery, you can see some lovely thangkas on the walls as well as rare Buddhist manuscripts. Another attraction is Batasia Loop, a beautiful garden that houses the War Memorial, which was built to honor Darjeeling's Gorkha soldiers.
Return to your hotel room, eat breakfast, and unwind. Prepare for more local sightseeing in Darjeeling. We take you to the Padmaja Naidu Zoological Park, Himalayan Mountaineering Institute (closed on Thursday), Passenger Ropeway, Tenzing and Gumbo Rock, Tibetan Refugee Self-Help Center, Tea Estate, Natural History Museum (closed on Sunday), and Peace Pagoda.
Padmaja Naidu Zoological Park, one of India's top zoos, is home to rare species such as the Red Panda, Siberian Tiger, and Snow Leopard. The park was created specifically to protect these endangered species of fauna. The lush greenery and serenity of the Zoo are its best features.

Day 3 : Kalimpong

After a leisurely breakfast, check out of the hotel and be transferred to Kalimpong.
Kalimpong, located at a height of up to 1250 meters above sea level and overlooking the Teesta River, is an amazing hill station. The hill station is home to a number of beautiful ancient monasteries, holy shrines, and prestigious educational institutions.
You can also use the area as a fantastic picnic spot. not to mention the beautiful markets brimming with Tibetan jewelry, antiquities, copperware, handicrafts, masks, and bone goods.
When you arrive in Kalimpong, check into a pre-booked accommodation and relax. Later in the evening, you are free to explore nearby nurseries or local markets. Stay in a hotel for the night.

Day 4 : Sightseeing in Kalimpong

The fourth day is dedicated to exploring Kalimpong. After breakfast, take a scenic drive to the Forest Museum (closed on Thursdays), Deolo Hill, Hanuman Mandir, Dr. Graham Homes (school), Durpin Monastery, Mangaldham, and Pine View Nursery.
Scale the highest point in the region, Deolo hill, which is 1704m above sea level and one of the two hills on which Kalimpong is built. Enjoy some cherry time at Deolo hill, as well as spectacular views of Kanchenjunga and the surrounding scenery.
Durpin Monastery is another important attraction in Kalimpong. The monastery is situated on Durpin Dara hill, with two large cylinders, each around 10ft high, on both sides. When you turn the cylinders with a crank, the lever is set up such that a bell rings with each revolution. A row of prayer wheels is also visible.
Kalimpong's lovely nurseries are one of its outstanding attractions. Visit the Pine View Nursery, which boasts the largest collection of cacti in Asia. The stunning variety of cacti will undoubtedly make you ponder about the possibility of cactus in North Eastern areas as well.
Return to your hotel for the night.

Day 5 : Transfer to Pelling

Check out of your accommodation on the fifth day of your Darjeeling-Kalimpong-Pelling-Gangtok tour and travel to Pelling via Jorethang (a town in south Sikkim).
Pelling, which is completely surrounded by beautiful nature, is another major town that should not be overlooked on your tour. The area is well-known for its stunning vistas of the Himalayan range, including snow-capped Mount Pandim, Rathong, Kanchenjunga, and Siniolchu, and the pleasant weather adds to its allure.
Pelling, located at a height of up to 2072 m, has various gorgeous spots to visit as well as a plethora of attractions. The Pelling has a variety of attractions, ranging from well-known monasteries to pure lakes. not to mention the Rhododendron and Orchid varieties, making it a plant lover's paradise.
After that, go to a hotel and relax. You can spend your evening roaming around the little town or visiting markets filled with hand-woven carpets, traditional themes, shawls and blankets made of Lepcha leaves, Buddhist holy goods, thangkas, and paper products.

Day 6 : Local Sightseeing in Pelling

After breakfast, you will spend the entire day traveling in and around Pelling. The paths are forested, and the floral and zoological diversity is impressive. Rimbi waterfalls, Rimbi Rock Garden, Khecheoplalri Lake, Khecheoplalri Monastery, Kanchenjunga waterfalls, Pemayangtse Monastery, and Rabdantse ruins are among the prominent tourist attractions in Pelling.
Khecheopalri Lake is regarded as one of the holiest lakes in Pelling by both the Buddhist and Hindu communities. The immaculate lake is known by several names, including Kha-Chot-Palri, Wishing Lake, and Sho Dzo Sho. The lake is part of a Buddhist religious pilgrimage circuit that includes Yuksom, Dubdi Monastery, Pemayangtse monastery, Rabdantse ruins, Sanga Choeling monastery, and Tashiding monastery.
Visit Pemayangtse Monastery, one of the most visually appealing gompas built by Lama Lhatsun Chempo primarily for "ta-sang" lamas (the purest of monks). Pemayangtse Gompa in Pelling is home to various old Buddhist deities, scriptures, and sculptures. The monastery's main attraction is a seven-tiered, painted wooden building depicting Guru Rimpoche's Heavenly Palace, Santoplari. Late Dungzin Rimpoche worked alone for five years to complete the edifice.
Kanchenjunga Waterfalls is a popular tourist destination in Pelling. Relax your senses by watching the water cascade down from a given height. The natural beauty and calm surroundings of the location welcome visitors from all over the world.

Day 7 : Gangtok/ Local Sightseeing

After finishing your morning breakfast, check out of the hotel and immediately go to Gangtok. Gangtok is one of the most visited destinations in North East India, known for its renowned monasteries, educational institutions, stunning valleys, and amazing sanctuaries. When it comes to attractions, the area has a lot to offer. Indeed, the region is known as the "country of monasteries" due to its abundance of monasteries.
You can visit Rumtek Monastery, Sikkim's largest Gompa, Saramsa Garden (a lovely garden with many fruits and flowers planted), Fambong La Wildlife Sanctuary (a fantastic sanctuary known for its diverse flora and wildlife), and Yumthang Valley (the valley is home to Shingba Rhododendron Sanctuary where there are 24 species of Rhododendron).
We take you to the Directorate of Handicrafts and Handloom Emporium, Research Institute of Tibetology, Do Drul Chorten (Stupa), Enchey Monastery, White Hall, and Flower Show, among other places.
The Directorate of Handicrafts and Handlooms Emporium is one of the most popular shopping destinations in the state of Sikkim. The center offers numerous things that are within your budget. Tibetan carpets, wonderful handicrafts such as thankas and choksee, and locally created furniture are all options.
The majestic Do Drul Chorten in Sikkim houses Kangyur relics (holy texts) and other sacred artifacts. There are around 108 prayer wheels that are revolved throughout the worship rite while singing "Om Mani Padme Hum" to invoke the Bodhisattva.

Day 8 : Excursion to Tsomgo Lake

After breakfast, take a short excursion to Tsomgo Lake and Baba Mandir.
Tsomgo Lake in Gangtok is considered a holy lake by Buddhists and is located approximately 38 kilometers from the city center. The lake's water is derived by melting snow from mountains and is located at an altitude of up to 12,400 feet. The lake is usually covered with snow for most of the year.
Locals tell that Lamas analyzed the color of the lake in order to foresee the future. Yak or mule rides along the lake are one of the best ways to enjoy the tranquil atmosphere.
Another important religious shrine near Tsomgo Lake is Baba Mandir. The shrine is located atop Nathula Pass at an elevation of up to 1300 feet. The Baba Harbhajan Singh Temple was built in memory of Baba Harbhajan Singh, a soldier. The temple is now maintained by the Indian Army.
Return to your hotel room. The remainder of the evening is free to wander about or shop at bazaars. Stay in Gangtok for the night.
If Tsomgo Lake is closed due to a landslide or for any other reason, an alternate sightseeing option will be provided.

Day 9 : Departure Gangtok

Have breakfast, check out of the accommodation, and go for Siliguri today. Travel to Jalpaiguri railway station/Bagdogra airport/Tenzing Norgay bus stand for your next destination.

  • The Booking:

    Your contract is with Today Hospitality India Private Limited. When we confirm you on our tour of your choice and receive your signed booking form and deposits, we have formed a contract between us. All relevant sections must be correctly and completely completed. We can only accept signed booking forms because they confirm that you and the other people on the tour accept our booking terms and conditions and are entering into the contract.

    Deposit:

    Upon completion of the signed booking form a deposit of 50% of the tour cost per person, be paid to the company.

    Payments:

    To hold the booking on a confirmed basis, a 50% advance payment should be made for the services contracted, and the balance can be paid at least 7 days prior to your date of departure from your country. We reserve the right to determine the amount to be paid as an advance payment based on the nature of the services and the time remaining for the services to begin. Aside from the foregoing, in some cases, such as special train journeys or hotel or resort bookings during peak season (Christmas, New Year), full payment is required in advance.

    Cancellation and Refund Policy:

    All cancellations must be made in writing to us at least a month prior to the date of arrival of the client. We levy the following cancellation charges.

  • 10% of the total amount if the booking is cancelled 30 days prior
  • 25% of the total amount if the booking is cancelled 20 days prior
  • 50% of the total amount if the booking is cancelled 15 days prior
  • 75% of the total amount if the booking is cancelled 10 days prior
  • 100% cancellation in case of no show
  • Token amount is non refundable in any cases.

    No refunds will be given in case of missed or unused services. This includes Flights, Trains Hotel stays, meals, sightseeing, transfers, entry ticket, permits or any other TTT services.

    In case, clients are suspected to indulge in any kind of illegal activity or violent behaviour, Bharat booking holidays will immediately stop the services while holding all the refunds.

    All hotel reservation require reconfirmation by the agent / customer atleast a one week prior to the date of check in failing which hotels reserve the right to levy atleast one night retention which is payable by the customer making reservation through us. Today Hospitality India Private Limited do not take any responsibility to make any refund on deposit to the clients until the same has been received by us from the hotel/s. If payment of the tour is through Credit Card charge then the contract is irrevocable.

    If there is any complaint regarding services it should be communicated to Today Hospitality India Private Limited while the tour is still on. Refund, if any, will be made in Indian Rupees only in India before the departure at the end of the tour, as per the conversion rate prevailing at the time of refund. In case of any legal dispute the Jurisdiction will be New Delhi and Guwahati, India.

    Refunds for unused services or shortening of tour due to genuine reason will be executed within 10 days of your returning to your home Country.
