With all of this increased awareness of this lovely area in mind, our five-day north east trip itinerary takes you to some of the most captivating tourist destinations, including Shillong and Cherrapunjee. On your first day in Meghalaya, visit the gorgeous Umiam Lake and enjoy boating sports in its serene and picture-perfect setting. Shillong is a nature lover’s delight, with spectacular attractions such as the Elephant Falls and Shillong Peak. Cherrapunjee, the wettest area on the planet, is famous for the Seven Sisters’ Waterfall, Nohkalikai Falls, and the Mawsmai Caves, all of which are must-sees on a journey to north east India. Last but not least, the experience of exploring the tiny Mawlynnong hamlet and going across the popular Living Root bridges will last a lifetime.
Our agent will assist you at the airport or railroad station. Continue to Shillong, popularly nicknamed "Scotland of the East." See the magnificent Umium Lake (Barapani). Water sports are available here (optional). After you arrive in Shillong, check into your accommodation. In the evening, you can go to the Police Bazaar, the largest local market. Stay in Shillong for the night.
Get up early today to enjoy Shillong's captivating mornings. After an early breakfast, head to Cherrapunji, the world's wettest spot. Eco Park, Dainthlen Waterfall, Nohkalikai Falls, Nohsngithiang Falls (Seven Sisters Falls), Mawsmai Cave, and Thangkharang Park are also worth seeing. Return to Shillong in the evening. For stunning vistas, go to Elephanta Falls and Shillong Peak. Stay in Shillong for the night.
After breakfast, go to Mawlynnong Village, India's cleanest village. This charming and beautiful community is well known for its cleanliness. It is 90 kilometers from Shillong and, in addition to the charming village, has numerous unique sites such as the Living Root Bridge and another strange natural occurrence of a boulder balancing on another rock. Pay a visit to Dawki. It is located near the Indo-Bangladesh border. The Umgnot River's crystal-clear waters are ideal for boating. We shall return to Shillong in the evening. Shillong is where you'll spend the night.
Today, after breakfast, visit the Don Bosco Center for Indigenous Traditions, Ward's Lake for boating, the Cathedral Catholic Church, and Lady Hydari Park. Continue on to Guwahati. Arrive at the hotel and check in. Visit Srimanta Sankardev Kalakshetra, which displays Assamese history and culture. You may also learn about the history of Assamese cinema at the Assam Film Museum. Visit the GTAC Tea Room for a cup of the finest Assam tea and to take some home. Organic, CTC, Orthodox, Green Tea, White Tea, Purple Tea, and more high-quality teas are available here. You can take a river cruise (with direct payment) on the majestic River Brahmaputra in the evening. You might also go to the neighborhood market. Assam is famous for its assam silk, especially golden Muga silk, as well as assam tea, bamboo, and cane goods. Stay in Guwahati for the night.
Check out of the motel after breakfast. As time allows, we may visit the Kamakhya Temple and other temples in Guwahati, including the Purva Tirupati Shri Balaji Temple, Sukreswar Temple, Navagraha Temple, Umananda Temple on Peacock Island, the world's smallest inhabited river island, the Assam State Museum, Dighali Pukhuri (Lake), State Zoo, Botanical Garden, Planetarium, and the Assam State Emporiums. Travel to Guwahati's airport or railway station for an unforgettable experience.
It is mandatory for all tourists (other than Nepal, Bhutanese) to obtain a Indian Visa before travelling to India. The Indian visa has to be processed via a government approved travel agency.

The Booking:
Your contract is with Today Hospitality India Private Limited. When we confirm you on our tour of your choice and receive your signed booking form and deposits, we have formed a contract between us. All relevant sections must be correctly and completely completed. We can only accept signed booking forms because they confirm that you and the other people on the tour accept our booking terms and conditions and are entering into the contract.
Deposit:
Upon completion of the signed booking form a deposit of 50% of the tour cost per person, be paid to the company.
Payments:
To hold the booking on a confirmed basis, a 50% advance payment should be made for the services contracted, and the balance can be paid at least 7 days prior to your date of departure from your country. We reserve the right to determine the amount to be paid as an advance payment based on the nature of the services and the time remaining for the services to begin. Aside from the foregoing, in some cases, such as special train journeys or hotel or resort bookings during peak season (Christmas, New Year), full payment is required in advance.
Cancellation and Refund Policy:
All cancellations must be made in writing to us at least a month prior to the date of arrival of the client. We levy the following cancellation charges.
No refunds will be given in case of missed or unused services. This includes Flights, Trains Hotel stays, meals, sightseeing, transfers, entry ticket, permits or any other TTT services.
In case, clients are suspected to indulge in any kind of illegal activity or violent behaviour, Bharat booking holidays will immediately stop the services while holding all the refunds.
All hotel reservation require reconfirmation by the agent / customer atleast a one week prior to the date of check in failing which hotels reserve the right to levy atleast one night retention which is payable by the customer making reservation through us. Today Hospitality India Private Limited do not take any responsibility to make any refund on deposit to the clients until the same has been received by us from the hotel/s. If payment of the tour is through Credit Card charge then the contract is irrevocable.
If there is any complaint regarding services it should be communicated to Today Hospitality India Private Limited while the tour is still on. Refund, if any, will be made in Indian Rupees only in India before the departure at the end of the tour, as per the conversion rate prevailing at the time of refund. In case of any legal dispute the Jurisdiction will be New Delhi and Guwahati, India.
Refunds for unused services or shortening of tour due to genuine reason will be executed within 10 days of your returning to your home Country.

PRICES: Unless otherwise specified, advertised package prices are based on double occupancy rooms or cabins and the least expensive travel dates, departure city, hotels, and other options available, and do not include Optional Excursions or other optional items. CONFIRMATION: We will confirm availability of all components and send you a confirmation email within 2-4 business days of receiving your booking and deposit. In any of these cases, we will notify you of any changes to your package price. BOOKING ON BEHALF OF OTHERS: If you make a booking for anyone other than yourself, you are considered the designated contact person for those other travelers. You represent and warrant that you are legally authorized to act on their behalf; that you have obtained all required consents; and that you will inform them of these Terms and warrant that they accept and agree to them. You are also responsible for making all payments due for your booking; notifying us if any changes or cancellations are required; and keeping the other travelers informed of all information relevant to your trip.
