Overview

Jalandhar is a historic city in the Indian state of Punjab. It is home to Devi Talab Mandir, a centuries-old Hindu temple dedicated to the goddess Durga, complete with a sacred tank. The whitewashed Gurdwara Chhevin Patshahi serves as a Sikh temple. St. Mary’s Cathedral, located to the southeast, is a modern structure with Punjabi architectural elements, two domed towers, and a pond.
