Overview

Thiruvananthapuram (or Trivandrum) is the capital of Kerala, a southern Indian state. It is notable for its British colonial architecture and numerous art galleries. It also houses Kuthira Malika (or Puthen Malika) Palace, which is adorned with carved horses and houses collections related to the Travancore royal family, whose regional capital was here from the 18th to the 20th centuries.
