Munnar is a town in Kerala, India, located in the Western Ghats mountain range. It is a hill station and former resort for the British Raj elite, surrounded by rolling hills dotted with late-nineteenth-century tea plantations. The Lakkam Waterfalls, hiking trails, and the 2,695m-tall Anamudi Peak are all part of Eravikulam National Park, which is home to the endangered mountain goat Nilgiri tahr.
