Chikmagalur is a hill station in the Indian state of Karnataka. To the north is Baba Budangiri, a Western Ghats mountain range with three large caves said to be holy. Mullayanagiri Peak is reached via trails through forests and grasslands. The cascading Hebbe Falls are located in a coffee plantation area. Elephants, tigers, and leopards live in the forested Bhadra Wildlife Sanctuary northwest of Chikmagalur.
