Overview

Jamshedpur is a large city in the east Indian state of Jharkhand, located between the Subarnarekha and Kharkai rivers. It’s famous for its massive, tree-lined Jubilee Park, which houses the Tata Steel Zoological Park, which has resident species such as tigers and leopards. The hilltop Bhuvaneshwari Temple has an elaborate 5-story entrance tower to the east. Elephants roam the forests of Dalma Wildlife Sanctuary, located north of the city.
