Gulmarg also known as Gulmarag(Kashmiri pronunciation lit.in Kashmiri, is a town, hill station, popular tourist destination, popular skiing destination, and notified area committee in the Indian administered union territory of Jammu and Kashmir’s Baramulla district. It is 31 kilometres (19 miles) from Baramulla and 49 kilometres (30 miles) from Srinagar. The town is located in the Pir Panjal Range of the Western Himalayas, within the Gulmarg Wildlife Sanctuary.
