Raipur is the state capital of Chhattisgarh in central India. The ancient Dudhadhari Math temple in the centre is a sacred monument dedicated to Lord Rama and decorated with scenes from the epic poem “Ramayana.” A statue of Hindu monk Swami Vivekananda towers over Vivekananda Sarovar lake nearby. Purkhouti Muktangan, located in the southeast, is an open-air museum with landscaped grounds, statues, and tribal artefacts.
